( edited Sto point to the source code repository which always has the latest version. If I kill TouchOSC Bridge, the problem goes away on the Disting EX itself, and it continues to work fine after restarting TouchOSC Bridge - until I interact with any parameter in the Editor.Hi Bereket, here is the TouchOSC layout file for the TTC-1 controller: Rolled forward to 1.15 firmware & 1.15_Mk2 Editor and the problem returned. I rolled back to 1.14 firmware and 1.14_Mk1 Editor, and did not see this behavior. I confirmed this behavior on both Mac OS and iPadOS instances of the Editor. When I change the "Tone treble" slider in the Editor, the Disting EX itself shows the values trying to change but as soon as I stop moving the slider, it drops to -240 on the Disting EX (the Editor slider stays put unless I move the knob on the Disting EX, in which case the setting on the Disting EX and the slider both drop to -240). If I change the parameter with the physical knob, it immediately gets slapped back down to -240. In SD Multisample, the "Tone treble" (parameter 56) gets stuck at -240 when the Editor is running. I'm seeing an issue with either the 1.15 firmware or the 1.15_Mk2 Editor - not sure which is the problem. I take this to mean that the Ex is not responding to activity in TouchOsc.ĭisting firmware is 1.15 and TouchOsc version is also 1.15. I have looked at the manual but found nothing pertaining to this.Īlso, when trying to use TouchOsc, only the output port lights up on the Midi Express. I have set 'default first CC' and 'algorithm select' as detailed in the first post but have no idea how to set attenuverters 1-6 to CC#0. Input and output midi shows on the Midi Express. I know this is working because I can use OS's Disting Ex editor to talk to the Ex. I'm using an iMac and communicating with the Ex using a Motu Midi Express 128, Din midi cables and the midi breakout module. I'm a rank noob to the Disting Ex and am having some trouble getting TouchOsc to work with my module. Setting up the "Algorithm select CC" on 127. 5&t=242137 ← go to old topicįrom parameter 7 to 64, the CCs range from CC#0 to CC#57 The midi channel in dual mode is 1 for Sx end 5 for Dx. (these change automatically by selecting "default first CC" and restarting the disting EX) These are the parameters that must be present on your EX disting:įrom parameter 7 to 64, the CCs range from CC#7 to CC#64 Also from the "keyboard" menu you can decide which MIDI channel to control with the keyboard. It will no longer be necessary to set the MIDI channel 1 for the left part and the MIDI channel 5 for the right part, as I have implemented a function to specify the MIDI channel of your Disting EX Dual Mode (for this I thank the user "Grum" ) Algorithms with improved functions for Disting EX now show updated values (eg L1-Stereo Reverb). The algorithms have been updated to firmware version 4.24 of the Disting Mk4 (eg. Nothing changes in single mode compared to the MK1, while I have made some updates and small graphic tweaks on the dual mode part, and in particular: DistingEX_Editor_1.15_MK2.rar (769.2 KiB) Downloaded 39 times
